Cheonan Signs Agreement with Salesforce to Build Smart City Industrial Ecosystem

On April 18, the city of Cheonan in Chungnam Province announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Salesforce Korea, the leading provider of customer relationship management (CRM) software, to foster an artificial intelligence data-driven smart city industrial ecosystem.
Salesforce is the world's top company providing cloud-based CRM services, with more than 180,000 companies worldwide using its solutions.
Under the agreement, the two organizations plan to work together to build an AI data-driven innovation ecosystem for smart cities, carry out joint projects, and provide customized talent development programs.
Park Sejin, Vice President of Salesforce Korea, said, "Cheonan has great potential in building smart cities and developing an AI ecosystem. We will collaborate so that Salesforce's AI technology and platform can make a real contribution to advancing public services."
Mayor Park Sangdon stated, "Our partnership with Salesforce has created an opportunity to take a leap forward as an AI-based smart city. We will continue to strengthen public-private cooperation to achieve digital innovation that citizens can truly experience."
