Kumho Construction Opens 'Nyeonjjak Bridge' Early to Mark 50th Anniversary of Vietnam Reunification
Opening Date Moved Forward to the End of This Month
Kumho Construction announced on the 17th that it will hold a temporary opening ceremony at the end of this month ahead of the early temporary opening of the 'Nyeonjjak Bridge,' which connects Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai Province in Vietnam.
The construction of Nyeonjjak Bridge, solely undertaken by Kumho Construction, began in September 2022 and was originally scheduled for completion in August this year. However, in response to the client's request to advance the completion date to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the liberation of southern Vietnam and national reunification, a plan was established to accelerate the schedule through holiday and day-night work, moving the opening date forward to the end of this month.

The total construction cost amounts to approximately 100 billion KRW.
