View original imageOn the 9th, at KAIST in Daejeon, during a special talk themed "The Future of AI Entertech," G-Dragon said, "When creating a stage, since my body cannot reach everyone, I always think about ways to receive help from technology."
He added, "At my last concert, I tried to showcase cutting-edge technology as a 'KAIST person,' and I wanted to offer the audience a new experience where art and technology become one."
He continued, "As a popular singer, I consider it an honor to have the opportunity to serve as a medium to explain and approach good technologies to the general public more easily and enjoyably."
Regarding the project of sending his music tracks into space, he said, "It is already amazing that, through scientific advancement, the whole world can share music, but selecting my cherished songs and sending them into space still feels unreal," adding, "I am very excited and hope my songs 'find their proper home.'"

Meanwhile, G-Dragon was appointed as an invited professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at KAIST in June last year. This appointment was promoted with the intention of integrating the latest scientific technologies developed at KAIST into K-content and the cultural industry, which are recognized worldwide, to expand the global competitiveness of Korean culture. G-Dragon's tenure as a KAIST professor is until June 2026.
