Daegu Agro-Fisheries Distribution Corporation to Hire 10 New Experienced and Entry-Level Employees... Lifting Regional Restrictions and Opening Nationwide Recruitment
In order to promote advanced distribution innovation at the Daegu Public Wholesale Market, the Daegu Agro-Fisheries Wholesale Market Management Corporation announced on the 9th that it will conduct an open recruitment for general staff to find creative and talented individuals who will shape the future of the corporation together.
The total number of general staff to be hired in 2025 is 10. This includes one Grade 2 experienced team leader (Distribution Operation Team 1), one Grade 3 experienced team leader (Operations Support Team), and, for both experienced and new employees, four administrative staff and four technical staff (one each for communications, architecture, disaster prevention, and electricity).
The recruitment process will implement a blind hiring system that excludes discriminatory factors such as gender, age, and educational background that are irrelevant to the job. The hiring will be based on job-centered evaluations using the National Competency Standards (NCS).
In particular, the removal of regional restrictions, which began in the second half of 2024, will also apply to the 2025 recruitment. This aims to recruit outstanding talent with expertise and experience from across the nation, beyond just Daegu and Gyeongbuk, to ensure the corporation's rapid stabilization and enhanced competitiveness in its early stages.
In the second half of 2024, three out of the 14 new hires were from regions outside of Daegu and Gyeongbuk.
The recruitment schedule will run exclusively online through the recruitment website for ten days, from the 14th to the 23rd. The written test will be held on May 10, followed by interviews on May 20, and the final successful candidates will be announced on June 17.
Kim Sangdeok, President of the Daegu Agro-Fisheries Wholesale Market Management Corporation, stated, "We will make every effort to ensure that the recruitment process is conducted transparently and fairly, and we hope for the active interest and applications of many fresh and talented individuals."
