Uljugun Launches Support Project for Youth Smart Farm Promotion and Expansion
Ulsan Ulju-gun and Ulsan Technopark (Ulsan TP) are implementing the "2025 Youth Smart Farm Distribution and Promotion Support Project" to establish an industrial ecosystem through support for smart farm facility installation and technology development.
Since 2020, Ulju-gun has been continuously distributing smart farms to improve agricultural productivity and support stable agricultural production in response to climate change.
To date, smart farm facilities have been installed at a total of 31 locations for the cultivation of leafy vegetables, fruit vegetables, and mushrooms, creating smart farms capable of complex environmental control. In addition, support has been provided to 25 companies for the development of related upstream and downstream smart farm technologies, striving to attract companies with outstanding technological capabilities.
This year's project will support the establishment of five smart farm facilities of 1.5th generation or higher, utilizing advanced technologies such as LED, IoT, and sensors for growth environment control, as well as the selection and support of two technology development projects for the demonstration of smart farm technologies.
To apply for the project, applicants must download and complete the application form from the Ulsan Technopark support project announcement by 1:00 p.m. on the 9th of next month, and submit it along with the required documents via email to the Ulsan TP representative.
