First Price Hike in Two Years and Six Months Since October 2022
Price Increases by 50 to 200 Won Depending on Product
Paldo announced on the 7th that it will raise the prices of its ramen and beverage brands by up to 8.3% starting from the 14th. This is the first price increase in 2 years and 6 months since October 2022.
Paldo Bibimmyun will increase from 1,100 won to 1,150 won, a 4.5% rise at retail stores. Wang Ttukgop will be adjusted from 1,400 won to 1,500 won (7.1%), and Namja Ramen will go up from 940 won to 1,000 won (6.4%). For beverages, Birak Sikhye cans (238ml) will increase from 1,200 won to 1,300 won (8.3%), and Birak Sikhye 1.5L will rise from 4,500 won to 4,700 won (4.4%).
