The smart boarding pass service integrates ID cards and boarding passes into a single QR code, allowing simultaneous verification of identity and boarding information. It can be used when flying with seven airlines: Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Eastar Jet, T'way Air, Jin Air, Air Seoul, and Jeju Air.

By issuing a mobile ID within the Wonder Wallet in the Woori WON Banking app, completing online check-in with the airline, and then applying for the smart boarding pass, ID and boarding pass information are automatically linked. The generated QR code can be used during boarding procedures.

First introduced in August 2023, the smart boarding pass service is currently also available through the PASS app of the three major mobile carriers and KB Star Banking app of Kookmin Bank.

Park Jae-hee, Head of Strategic Planning at the corporation, stated, "We plan to expand the smart boarding pass service to reduce inconvenience for airport users and alleviate congestion," adding, "In the future, we will extend the service to international flights and diversify issuance channels by collaborating with more financial institutions and online platforms."
