The signing ceremony was attended by Jung Won-jung, Vice President and Head of Kia's Domestic Business Division, and Ryu Jae-cheol, President and Head of LG Electronics' HS Business Division.
The two companies plan to provide differentiated experiences by integrating advanced home appliances into PBVs, allowing them to be used as personalized offices, studios, lounges, and more, regardless of location.
At the Kia pavilion of the Seoul Mobility Show, Kia unveiled two 'PV5 Spielraum' concept cars that showcase the vision of the business agreement. 'Spielraum' means 'play space' in German.
The Spielraum Studio concept car is designed for solo entrepreneurs who frequently move and need workspace or storage. It applies AI home appliances optimized for the PV5 interior space, such as modular stylers, smart mirrors, and coffee machines.
Depending on the driver's business schedule, AI calculates the remaining travel time until arrival and suggests the optimal styler course, enabling situation-specific customized settings.
