Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Attends Barefoot Red Clay Path Opening Ceremony at Bueong-i Neighborhood Park
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, attended the opening ceremony of the Barefoot Loess Path at Buongi Neighborhood Park, located at 879 Sangam-dong, on the afternoon of April 2.
Mapo District created the Barefoot Loess Path, Barefoot Masato Path, and General Masato Path at Buongi Neighborhood Park to promote residents' health and leisure activities. In addition, various loess experience facilities such as Loess Ball Bath, Dry Loess Foot Bath, and Wet Loess Foot Bath were installed to add a special touch.
Also, a wildflower garden with flowers blooming in all four seasons was created around the loess path so that residents can feel nature up close and relax comfortably.
The opening ceremony proceeded in the order of a progress report on the opening of the loess path, a commemorative speech by Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, a congratulatory speech by Baek Nam-hwan, Chairperson of the Mapo District Council, a tape-cutting ceremony, commemorative photo session, and an inspection of the loess path.
