Tourism Organization Signs MOU with Fishery Port Corporation and Shipping Association to Revitalize Marine Tourism
The Korea Tourism Organization announced on the 2nd that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea Fisheries and Coastal Fisheries Agency and the Korea Shipping Association to promote marine tourism.
Through this agreement, the three organizations plan to enhance the public's accessibility to marine tourism by utilizing local coastal resources and strengthen a cooperative system to discover various regional tourism contents based on marine resources. Additionally, they will collaborate in various fields such as ▲development and promotion marketing of specialized marine tourism products linked to fishing villages, fishing ports·islands (coastal passenger transport) ▲mutual cooperation related to the marine tourism activation campaign (Badaganeun Dal).

In particular, the Korea Tourism Organization will conduct the 'Badaganeun Dal' campaign throughout May and plans to provide differentiated marine tourism products reflecting regional characteristics to the public, aiming to expand the base of marine tourism and revitalize the local economy.

Yoo Jin-ho, Head of the Tourism Content Strategy Division at the Korea Tourism Organization, stated, "We will jointly discover various marine tourism contents so that the public can enjoy the sea more closely," and added, "We will continue diverse collaborations to grow marine tourism into an important pillar of South Korea's tourism industry."
