Hapcheon County Council Appoints Audit Committee Members for 2024 Fiscal Year Settlement

The Hapcheon County Council in Gyeongnam presented letters of appointment to four settlement audit committee members, marking the beginning of the 2024 fiscal year settlement audit, which will be conducted over 20 days from April 1 to April 20.

A council official stated, "We will do our utmost to provide support for related tasks to ensure a smooth settlement audit of all aspects of local finances."
Chief committee member Shin Myeonggi said, "We will make every effort to accurately reflect a detailed analysis of Hapcheon County’s major financial operations, including the 2024 fiscal year’s execution details, continuing expenses, carried-over budgets, and financial statements, in the settlement audit report to ensure sound local financial management."
Chairman Jeong Bonghun, while presenting the letters of appointment, remarked, "Given the current situation where the challenges facing local finances are becoming more severe, the role of the settlement audit committee members is more important than ever," and added, "I expect you will contribute greatly to the management of local finances based on your extensive administrative experience and legislative capabilities."
