Chungnam Province to Build Rural Stay-Type Complex in Yesan with 3 Billion Won Investment
Selected as a Pilot Project by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs
Secured 1.5 Billion KRW in National Funding
Chungnam Province will establish a rural stay-type complex in Yesan County by 2027.
According to the province on the 31st, the Husa-ri district in Eungbong-myeon, Yesan, has been selected for the "Rural Stay-type Complex Pilot Project" organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
The province plans to invest a total of 3 billion KRW, including 1.5 billion KRW in national funding, to provide around 20 small-scale accommodation facilities and convenience spaces.
In addition, various exchange programs will be offered, such as community gardens for farming experiences and local tourism and cultural resources for relaxation and leisure.
The Husa-ri district boasts excellent accessibility to major metropolitan areas, being adjacent to the Yesansu-deoksa IC on the Seosan-Yeongdeok Expressway and just a five-minute drive from the Yedang Lake Interchange.
Once the complex is established, the province plans to accept rental applications from urban residents interested in rural stays.
Lee Hyukse, head of the Provincial Rural Restructuring Division, said, "We expect the rural stay-type complex to become an excellent model for attracting new residents and responding to the risk of regional extinction."
