Ansan City "80% Implementation Rate of Resident Proposals in the 8th Elected Term"
839 Completed Out of 1,576 Suggestions, 424 in Progress

On the 31st, Ansan City in Gyeonggi Province announced that the implementation rate of resident suggestions received since the launch of the 8th term of the civil administration has reached 80%.
At the 'Resident Suggestions Receipt Progress Report Meeting' held on the 28th in the city hall's main conference room, the city explained that out of 1,576 resident suggestions received since the start of the 8th term, 839 have been completed. Considering that 424 suggestions are currently being processed, the overall implementation rate was calculated to be 80.1%, the city added.

View original imageAccording to the city, since the launch of the 8th term, Mayor Lee Min-geun has been communicating with citizens and listening to their opinions on-site through ▲initial visits ▲New Year's visits to senior centers ▲dialogues with residents for budget reflection ▲New Year's visits to neighborhoods (dong) ▲and the 'First Greeting of Hope Together' event.
At the report meeting, the progress of the implementation of suggestions by each responsible department was checked, and ways to collaborate between departments for the prompt advancement of ongoing matters were discussed. The city also decided to actively seek solutions for suggestions under review and to clearly provide feedback on the processing results to the proposers.
For suggestions that were inevitably closed due to institutional limitations, the city plans to continuously monitor them and promptly proceed with projects if conditions for advancement arise.
