Recruitment for Gyeonggi Youth Gap Year Program Participants... April 1-25
Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Future Generation Foundation are recruiting participants for the ‘2025 Gyeonggi Youth Gap Year Program’ from April 1 to 25, supporting young people to challenge themselves, gain experience, and discover new possibilities.
This year, Gyeonggi Province has expanded the recruitment scale from 800 to 1,200 participants and newly introduced the ‘Social Contribution Type,’ which combines travel and social value activities, in addition to the existing ‘Project Type’ where youth directly plan and execute projects.
Applicants must be youth aged 19 to 39 (born between 1985 and 2006) residing in the province and can apply individually or as a team. For those who have fulfilled their military service, the application age is extended by the length of service, allowing applicants born as early as 1983 to apply.
Participants receive up to 5 million KRW in support funds for project execution (1 million KRW for the Social Contribution Type). They also enjoy various benefits such as self-exploration and aptitude tests, mentoring by experts in various fields, and programs linked to employment and entrepreneurship. Furthermore, outstanding projects selected will receive additional support funds of up to 3 million KRW through the ‘Opportunity Plus’ process.
