Shinhan Bank Sponsors Judo National Team Members Kim Minjong and Lee Junhwan
Shinhan Bank announced on the 30th that it has signed a sponsorship contract with judo national team athletes Kim Minjong and Lee Junhwan, who won medals at the '2024 Paris Olympics'.
On the 28th, at the Shinhan Bank headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, a sponsorship contract was signed with judo national team athletes Kim Min-jong and Lee Jun-hwan. View original imageKim Minjong is a Korean judo star who won the silver medal in the men's +100kg category at the Paris Olympics, setting the highest record in the heaviest weight class in Korean judo history in 36 years. He also won the recently held Chairman's Cup National Judo Competition and National Team Selection Tournament.
Lee Junhwan also attracted attention by winning the bronze medal in the men's under 81kg category and mixed team event at the Paris Olympics. He rose again to the top at this year's national team selection tournament, emerging as a key player representing Korean judo.
Shinhan Bank plans to support the two athletes so that they can focus on training in a stable environment. Shin Sanghyuk, President of Shinhan Bank, stated, "We will actively cheer for and support the two athletes so that they can continue to grow as world-class players."
