Hongseong County Promotes Tourism Appeal at 'Naenara Travel Expo'

View original imageHongseong County in Chungnam is participating in the '2025 Korea Travel Expo,' held for four days at SETEC in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, until the 30th, to widely promote the tourism attractions of Hongseong nationwide.
The Korea Travel Expo is the largest travel exhibition in the country, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Tourism Association. Over 140 organizations from across the nation participate, operating more than 380 booths in this large-scale event.
This year, the county is focusing on promoting '2025 Visit Hongseong Year' and '2025-2026 Visit Chungnam Year' by jointly operating a promotional booth with Chungnam Province and seven other cities and counties, aiming to widely publicize Hongseong's diverse and unique tourism resources throughout Korea.
In particular, the county is highlighting its signature festivals such as the 'Hongseong Global Barbecue Festival' and the 'Hongseong Historical Figures Festival,' while also introducing innovative tourism programs like Shinbaram Taxi, Bangapseumnida, Hongseong Half-price Travel, and the Mother and Daughter Memory Trip.
Kim Taegi, head of the county's Culture and Tourism Department, stated, "By linking the 2025 Visit Hongseong Year with the 2025-2026 Visit Chungnam Year, we will actively promote Hongseong's major festivals, tourist destinations, and local tours nationwide so that more tourists will visit Hongseong."
