According to the province, Governor Kim stated, "Large-scale wildfires are turning forests into ashes and causing the worst casualties," and urged, "Please monitor and respond as if each of you is a forest ranger to help prevent disasters."
Governor Kim also expressed his intention to create the best forests through the province's 'Second Forest Greening Project.'
He said, "The importance of forest management has increased in response to the climate crisis and for economic reasons," and added, "Let us join forces to manage and develop our forests well so we can pass them on to future generations."
