Employees of Hana Financial Group announced on the 28th that they will carry out volunteer activities to help wildfire victims across the country recover their daily lives and support firefighting personnel who are working hard to extinguish the wildfires.
As the nationwide spread of wildfires rapidly progresses and damages increase, Hana Bank’s labor union and employees, a major affiliate of the group, voluntarily raised a total of 116.91 million KRW in donations, which will be delivered to the Korean Red Cross.
In addition, the group will recruit volunteers among its employees to assist wildfire victims on-site.
First, a meal truck will be provided to the northern Gyeongbuk region, which has suffered the most severe damage, and group employees will carry out emergency meal services for the affected victims. Lunch boxes will also be delivered to firefighting personnel battling to extinguish the wildfires at damage sites nationwide.
Chairman Ham Young-joo stated, "All employees of Hana Financial Group will unite with one heart to provide the best support so that customers in the communities affected by the wildfires can recover their daily lives as soon as possible."

The group also delivered 1,111 Happiness Boxes containing relief supplies such as medicines, hygiene products, and daily necessities including ready-to-eat meals to wildfire-affected areas.
