Green Umbrella, Starbucks Recruiting 11th Generation of Young Talents

View original imageChild welfare organization Green Umbrella (Chairman Hwang Young-gi) announced on the 27th that it is recruiting the 11th class of ‘Starbucks Youth Talent’ to support the dreams of young people.
‘Starbucks Youth Talent’ is a scholarship and leadership development program for young talents jointly operated by Green Umbrella and Starbucks since 2015, supporting a total of 101 young talents by 2024. This program is operated by Starbucks donating a portion of the store revenue generated from Starbucks Community Stores, which are profit-sharing stores, and Green Umbrella utilizing these funds to support youth.
The 11th class of selected youth talents will receive scholarships worth 6 million KRW annually, opportunities to participate in youth leadership camps, mentoring programs, and community service activities. Outstanding participants can also experience internships at Starbucks headquarters and global Starbucks experiences. The recruitment target is university freshmen entering in 2025, and final selection will be made through document screening and interviews. The deadline for submitting application documents is April 16th at 3 PM, and detailed information can be found in the announcements section on the Green Umbrella website.
