Wildfire Spreads to Yangsan, Gyeongnam... Evacuation of Korean Medicine Hospital and Elderly Care Facility
As the large wildfire continues for the fifth day, the flames have spread to Yangsan, Gyeongnam.
According to Yangsan City, on the morning of the 26th, the wildfire in Ulju crossed Daewoonsan in Yongdang-dong, Yangsan City, which is the boundary point between the two regions, and entered Yangsan's jurisdiction.
The total fire line that spread to the Yangsan area was 2 km as of 4 p.m., with 1 km of fire remaining. At one point in the morning, the fire line within Yangsan's jurisdiction was 150 m, but the fire range has expanded.
Two helicopters conducted water-dropping operations at the boundary between Yangsan and Ulsan, and about 300 personnel including Yangsan city officials, wildfire suppression teams, firefighters, and police, along with about 210 pieces of equipment, were mobilized.

Pre-evacuation orders were issued for private houses, temples, and a Korean medicine hospital near Daewoonsan, and additional evacuation orders were given to a nearby nursing home for the elderly.
