Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to experience rain of 5 to 20 mm under cloudy skies on the 27th, with some areas accompanied by thunder, lightning, and strong winds. According to the Gwangju Meteorological Administration, the region will remain mostly cloudy with 5 to 20mm of rainfall, influenced by a low-pressure system moving eastward near the Shandong Peninsula in China. Some areas experiencing rain may also see gusty winds, thunder, and lightning.
Morning lows are expected to be 10 degrees in Shinan, 12 degrees in Mokpo and Jindo, 13 degrees in Yeonggwang, Hampyeong, Haenam, Boseong, Yeosu, and Goheung, 14 degrees in Naju, Jangseong, Gokseong, Gurye, Hwasun, Suncheon, Gwangyang, Gangjin, and Wando, 15 degrees in Damyang, and 16 degrees in Gwangju.
Daytime highs will be 22 degrees in Suncheon, 21 degrees in Gurye, 20 degrees in Gwangyang, 19 degrees in Gokseong, Boseong, and Jangheung, 18 degrees in Gwangju, Damyang, Yeongam, Gangjin, and Wando, 17 degrees in Jangseong, Naju, and Haenam, 16 degrees in Hampyeong and Muan, 14 degrees in Mokpo and Yeonggwang, and 13 degrees in Shinan, which is lower than the previous day.
Waves in the West and South Sea coastal areas will range from 1 to 2 meters. Fine dust levels are forecasted to remain 'moderate' throughout the day. Ultrafine dust will be at 'moderate' levels until the morning, turning 'bad' from the afternoon.
A Gwangju Meteorological Administration official said, "After the rain, cold air from the north will move south, causing strong winds and a drop in temperature, so please take care of your health due to the temperature changes."
