Cooperation for the Selection and Training of Aviation Operation and Maintenance Specialists
Hanseo University and low-cost carrier Jin Air signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement (MOU) on the 26th at Jin Air headquarters in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, to select and train specialized personnel in flight and maintenance. View original imageHanseo University and the low-cost airline Jin Air signed an industry-academia cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the 26th for the selection and training of aviation operation and maintenance specialists.
The agreement, signed at the Jin Air headquarters in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, aims to establish a collaborative system between Hanseo University and Jin Air for nurturing aviation talent in the fields of maintenance and operation, as well as strengthening aviation safety.
According to the agreement, Hanseo University plans to design and operate an industry-academia talent development program in cooperation with Jin Air.
The signing ceremony was attended by Hanseo University President Ham Kisun, Vice President for Aviation Affairs Jung Hanseok, Aviation Technology Education Center Director Kim Chonyong, Flight Training Center Director Ryu Jonghyun, and Professor Kim Sejun from the School of Liberal Studies. Jin Air was represented by CEO Park Byungryul, Chief Operating Officer Jung Hunsik, and Chief Maintenance Officer Lee Dongyeop.
CEO Park Byungryul stated, "We expect that our collaboration with Hanseo University, which boasts outstanding educational capabilities and facilities, will enable us to nurture and discover excellent talent. By proactively securing aviation professionals, we will strengthen our competitiveness in aviation safety and further contribute to the development of the aviation industry."
President Ham Kisun responded, "We will do our utmost to foster aviation operation and maintenance professionals based on Hanseo University's advanced education and facilities, so as to support Jin Air in the selection and training of operation and maintenance specialists."
