Anseong City Operates 'Anseong Matchum Mock Startup Class' for Elementary and Middle School Students
Basic Startup, Marketing Theory, and Career Exploration Courses
Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 26th that it will operate the 'Anseong Matchum Mock Startup Classroom' to foster creative problem-solving skills and innovative ideas among youth.
This program, in collaboration with Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts, offers three differentiated customized educational courses. From this month until August, it will be conducted for 1,810 students from 15 schools, ranging from 4th grade elementary to 3rd grade middle school within the district.
The program consists of ▲Basic Startup Course ▲Marketing Theory Course ▲Career Exploration Course. In the 'Basic Startup Course,' participants can experience the overall startup process, from selecting a business item to creating a business registration certificate, writing a business plan, and presenting it.
The 'Marketing Theory Course' helps develop practical marketing skills through marketing theory for product promotion, idea planning, and speech communication training. The 'Career Exploration Course' is designed to enhance self-understanding and career planning abilities by helping students find their areas of interest through online tests and MBTI assessments, as well as providing career recommendations and speech communication training.
Last year, the city operated the mock startup classroom for 1,550 middle and high school students in the district.
