The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Tae-hee) announced the '2025 Gyeonggi Online School Basic Plan' on the 25th, aimed at expanding learning beyond time and space.

The main tasks set are ▲providing online education to expand learning choices ▲establishing an AI-based customized learning system ▲creating a sustainable learning support system.
The types of Gyeonggi Online School are classified as ▲providing personalized classes (class/credit recognition type) ▲expanding various self-directed learning (learning experience type) ▲addressing blind spots in public education (academic recognition type).
The Provincial Office of Education plans to actively communicate and collaborate with all departments of the headquarters and affiliated institutions to revitalize the operation of each type of Gyeonggi Online School.
Oh Chan-sook, Director of the Digital Talent Bureau at the Provincial Office of Education, said, "The 'Education 3-Sector' Gyeonggi Online School will serve as a hub for future education in Gyeonggi, connecting all online educational resources in the province to students," adding, "It will operate based on student-led, individualized AI systems to comprehensively support everything from student growth records to college admission and career planning."
