Guro-gu, Inspection of Sewage Facilities in Preparation for Thawing Season
On-site Inspection of Rectangular Sewer and Guro 1 Rainwater Pump Station
Eom Euisik, Acting Head of Guro-gu Office, Accompanies the Inspection Team
On the 25th, Guro-gu inspected sewage facilities to prepare for safety accidents during the thawing season.
The thawing season is a period when the frozen ground surface from winter melts, weakening the ground and making safety accidents more likely to occur.
Accordingly, the district conducted proactive inspections including △checking for damage at joints, walls, and floors of rectangular sewer inflow pipelines △verifying the repair and reinforcement status of recently maintained sections.
During the inspection, Eom Euisik, the head of Guro-gu Office, accompanied the team to directly check a 1.2 km section of the rectangular sewer and inspected flood control facilities such as the Guro 1 Rainwater Pump Station.
