BNK Gyeongnam Bank Changdong Branch Reopens as a Customer-Centered Branch

BNK Kyongnam Bank has unveiled its new 'Changdong Branch,' a digitally integrated, senior-customized branch, to give back to customers and local residents for their love and support.
On the 25th, BNK Kyongnam Bank announced that it had newly constructed, expanded, and relocated the Changdong Branch.
The Changdong Branch, spanning 140 pyeong, has been reborn by preserving the historical value of being the former headquarters of BNK Kyongnam Bank. The branch features a historical exhibition space, a sophisticated new building, and interiors reflecting the latest trends.
In particular, a customer-centric 'counter layout' has been implemented and a dedicated PB (private banker) assigned to provide senior customers with financial convenience, digital experiences, and differentiated asset management consultations.
Additionally, a tailored environment for senior customers has been created by offering financial education videos for seniors at all times, stationing a concierge (lobby manager) dedicated to seniors, and supporting the use of a digital desk where tasks can be handled via video consultations.
Furthermore, the branch features a digital zone for quick transactions using digital devices according to customer needs and preferences, as well as private spaces for consultations and loan services. Digital signage for interaction and information provision has also been installed, creating a new space never before seen at BNK Kyongnam Bank.
Through the new construction and expansion of the Changdong Branch, BNK Kyongnam Bank delivered messages to local residents and the community such as: connecting historical value with a new beginning, linking past and future, connecting with the local community, and providing a differentiated customer experience.
Changdong Branch Manager Shin Jinwook stated, "After about three years of temporary relocation, BNK Kyongnam Bank's Changdong Branch has returned to its original location with a newly constructed and expanded building. With interiors reflecting the latest trends and ample parking space, customer convenience has been greatly improved. In particular, we have fully reflected the needs of senior customers to ensure there are no inconveniences in handling their business. We will do our best to provide differentiated financial services to customers visiting the Changdong Branch."
Meanwhile, BNK Kyongnam Bank was established in May 1970 to vitalize the local economy and support local businesses financially. In October of that year, the headquarters was relocated to the current Changdong Branch location, growing together with the local community ever since.
