SK Planet Conducts Voluntary Retirement... Application Deadline Until Next Month 11th
SK Planet, a subsidiary of SK Square that operates 'OK Cashback,' is implementing a voluntary retirement program.
According to industry sources on the 24th, SK Planet announced that it is accepting voluntary retirement applications from all employees. The application period is from the 31st of this month to the 11th of next month. Approval for voluntary retirement will be individually notified after screening, and employees will be expected to retire as of the 30th of next month.
SK Planet has offered special retirement benefits based on years of service and age. Those born after 1986 will receive a basic salary equivalent to 12 months, those born between 1976 and 1985 will receive 14 to 18 months depending on years of service, and those born before 1975 will receive 20 to 24 months of their basic salary based on years of service.
An SK Planet official stated, "Considering the unstable external business environment such as high exchange rates and a shrinking consumer market, as well as internal factors like prolonged stagnation in growth and weakening business models and service foundations, we are implementing voluntary retirement. This is a self-help measure to achieve mid- to long-term growth through management efficiency in terms of manpower."
