Chairman of Hanmi Semiconductor's Investment Company Gwakshin Holdings Plans to Build Dosan Office Building
Investment specialist company Gwaksin Holdings is constructing its headquarters on Dosan-daero in Gangnam, Seoul.
Chairman Kwak Dong-shin personally invested in HPSP and realized profits exceeding 300 billion KRW. Based on this, he purchased 532 pyeong of land on Dosan-daero in Gangnam and is planning a full-scale investment project through Gwaksin Holdings.
In June 2021, he jointly invested in Hanmi Semiconductor and HPSP, holding a total of 25% equity (Hanmi Semiconductor 12.5% / Chairman Kwak Dong-shin 12.5%). In July 2022, HPSP was listed on the KOSDAQ market, generating profits exceeding 600 billion KRW.
In May 2024, Chairman Kwak Dong-shin invested 31 billion KRW in Line Next, securing an 8.5% stake. Line Next is a promising IT company invested in by SoftBank through Line Yahoo, focusing on the development of an NFT platform and global Web3 business, which are expected to experience explosive growth, and is planning to go public in the future.

A Gwaksin Holdings official stated, "Reports by some media that we are preparing an imported car showroom are not true," adding, "After demolishing the remaining buildings on the Dosan-daero site, we plan to construct a new building with three basement floors and ten above-ground floors and proceed with full-scale investment projects."
