Kim Dong-yeon, Han Deok-su Impeachment Dismissal "Yoon Seok-yeol Impeachment Acceptance Preceded National Stability Measures"
"Hope the Gap in Economic Diplomacy Will Be Filled as Soon as Possible"
Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon evaluated the Constitutional Court's dismissal of Prime Minister Han Duck-soo's impeachment on the 24th as "a preliminary national stability measure ahead of the acceptance of Yoon Seok-yeol's impeachment."
On the same day, Governor Kim said through his Facebook, "It is not the appointing authority who will soon be dismissed, but the country, the people, and the economy that must be considered."
He added, "I hope the gap in economic diplomacy will be filled as soon as possible," and requested, "Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, who is returning, should first have a phone call with President Trump," and "appoint the economic envoy of the administration first."
Governor Kim also said, "A swift supplementary budget must be passed before heading into a bigger economic crisis," and added, "There is no reason to hesitate in appointing Judge Ma Eun-hyuk. It is not the appointing authority who will soon be dismissed, but the country, the people, and the economy that must be considered."
