Innocean Wins 5 Main Awards Including Gold at 'AdFest 2025'
Asia-Pacific's Leading Advertising Festival
'Night Fishing' Co-Planned and Produced with Hyundai Motor Company Wins Five Awards
Innocean announced on the 24th that it won one Gold, one Silver, and three Bronze awards at 'Adfest 2025,' the representative advertising festival of the Asia-Pacific region.
Innocean received a total of five main awards across four categories?Brand Experience, Entertainment, Film Craft, and Film?for the 'Night Fishing' campaign, co-planned and produced with Hyundai Motor Company. The Gold award was received in the Brand Experience category. This category awards campaigns designed to go beyond simple advertising, allowing consumers to interact with and immerse themselves in the brand.
The Night Fishing campaign is a short film starring actor Son Seok-gu and the Hyundai Ioniq 5. It is a humanism thriller featuring a mysterious incident and plot twist set against the backdrop of an electric vehicle charging station. As branded content in the unique format of a film, it was praised for demonstrating a new approach that transcends traditional advertising formats. Additionally, it was evaluated as effectively conveying Hyundai Motor Company's innovation through its groundbreaking filming technique from the car's perspective and the interesting theme of the car driving the story forward.
Moreover, the campaign was praised for having enough artistic value to be discussed as a film without the direct purpose of promoting the vehicle. Night Fishing previously won the 'Best Editing Award' at the Fantasia International Film Festival, North America's largest genre film festival held in Montreal, Canada, in July last year.
Lee Yong-woo, CEO of Innocean, said, “We are delighted that a campaign with groundbreaking creativity has been highly recognized on the international stage,” adding, “We will continue to launch campaigns that offer diverse brand experiences with differentiated ideas.”
