Changwon Coast Guard Promotes Marine Safety Again at 3.15 Marathon This Year
The Changwon Maritime Police Station in Gyeongnam participated in the 3.15 Marathon held at 3.15 Marine Nuri Park in Masanhappo-gu, Changwon this year as well, conducting a maritime safety campaign.
On the 23rd, Changwon Maritime Police announced that about 50 staff members participated as marathon runners at the event venue and operated campaign booths to create a safer sea, including ▲life raft experience ▲maritime police uniform experience ▲CPR training.

An event was also held where marathon participants could borrow life jackets, and those who completed the marathon while properly wearing the life jacket were given commemorative gifts.
The 3.15 Marathon was organized and hosted by the 3.15 Uprising Commemoration Association and the 3.15 Marathon Preparation Committee, with support from Changwon City and Muhak Joheundae Co., Ltd., to commemorate the 3.15 Uprising, a large-scale protest that took place in Masan in response to the fraudulent March 15, 1960 election.
