View original imageOn the 20th, Seosan City in South Chungcheong Province held an appointment ceremony for the Policy Special Advisor in the tourism sector at the mayor's office and presented the letter of appointment to Professor Kim Cheonjoong.
The ceremony was attended by Mayor Lee Wanseop of Seosan, Vice Mayor Hong Soongwang, and Professor Emeritus Kim Cheonjoong of the Department of Tourism Management at Yongin University.
Professor Kim Cheonjoong, who has been appointed as the Policy Special Advisor, will provide expert advice on overall municipal affairs for one year based on his expertise.
In 2023, the city established relevant local regulations to seek advice on major policy directions and promote substantial policy initiatives, appointing private sector experts from various fields as advisors.
Policy Special Advisor Kim Cheonjoong stated, "I will spare no effort for the development of Seosan City based on my professional knowledge and experience in the tourism sector."
Mayor Lee Wanseop of Seosan said, "With Professor Kim Cheonjoong, an expert in the tourism sector, joining us, we expect our city's tourism policies to improve," adding, "The city will continue to appoint experts from various fields as Policy Special Advisors to maintain dynamic municipal activities."
