Jangsu County Supports 'Eco-friendly Agricultural Product Packages' for Pregnant Women
Applications accepted until the 31st... 30 recipients to be selected
Jangsu County in North Jeolla Province announced on the 20th that it will provide eco-friendly agricultural product packages for pregnant women in the county in 2025.
The support is available to those who are registered residents of the county and are currently pregnant or have given birth after January 1, 2024.
Applications can be submitted until the 31st at the local town or township office, or through the eco-friendly agricultural product online mall.
In particular, when applying online, a non-face-to-face eligibility verification service is available, allowing applicants to apply easily without submitting separate documents.
The total number of recipients is 30. Each selected pregnant woman can purchase eco-friendly agricultural products and organic processed goods worth 480,000 won (with a self-payment of 96,000 won) from the designated online mall, and must order at least 50% eco-friendly agricultural products.
However, pregnant women who received support last year cannot apply again for the same child, and those who are beneficiaries of the Health Center's Nutrition Plus Project or the Agri-food Voucher Project are excluded.
Selected pregnant women must register as a member of the supplier's online mall within 30 days after receiving their unique identification number, and from next month until December 15, they can order desired products and only need to pay the self-payment amount.
County Governor Choi Hunsik said, "Through this project, we hope not only to protect the health of pregnant women and newborns, but also to promote the consumption of eco-friendly agricultural products in the region," adding, "We will continue to do our best to ensure that more pregnant women and families can benefit through ongoing support."
