Vice Minister Lee Heewan stated, "It was thanks to the sacrifice and dedication of the medical support units that many lives were saved," and added, "We will continue to pursue veterans policies to ensure that the sacrifices made for the nation are not forgotten." He also expressed his gratitude to the Busan Tourism Organization and Busan Facilities Corporation, who participated in the tribute.
