Gwangju Gwangsan District Council to Open 295th Extraordinary Session on the 20th
The Gwangsan District Council in Gwangju will hold its 295th extraordinary session from the 20th to the 26th, during which it will review and vote on 23 agenda items.
During this session, a total of 23 items will be addressed, including the appointment of the 2024 fiscal year settlement inspection committee members, 18 ordinance bills (15 of which were proposed by council members), 3 agreement bills, and 2 general bills. The council will begin with the first plenary session on the 20th, review the agenda items in standing committees from the 21st to the 25th, and make final decisions at the second plenary session on the 26th.
Chairman Kim Myungsoo stated, "As this is the time when major projects for the new year are getting underway, we will thoroughly review the district administration and do our best to ensure that the will of the residents is well reflected."
