The conflict between Hongbok Academy, the school foundation for Daegwang Girls' High School and Seojin Girls' High School, and the actual landowner continued, leaving the issue unresolved for four months.
The city Office of Education mediated discussions with the temporary board of Hongbok Academy and the actual landowner, and held an emergency countermeasure meeting chaired by Superintendent Lee Jungseon on the 12th. On the 18th, the Office of Education, the temporary board of Hongbok Academy, and the actual landowner reached an agreement to remove the container.
The actual landowner accepted the removal plan as the temporary board of Hongbok Academy decided to form a normalization promotion committee in April and proceed with normalizing the foundation.
The city Office of Education plans to support the normalization of Hongbok Academy's foundation to prevent a recurrence of the school route issue. The temporary board will appoint a legal representative and assign dedicated personnel for normalization within the foundation to ensure procedural transparency.
Superintendent Lee Jungseon stated, "Creating a safe educational environment for students is our top priority," and added, "We will do our best to ensure stable school operations in cooperation with the school foundation."
