View original imageThe Public Golf Course Association held its regular general meeting on the 18th at the Olympic Parktel in Seoul and elected CEO Woo as the new president. President Woo was immediately inaugurated as the 8th president. The term is two years.
President Woo stated, "Along with popularizing golf, I will focus on supporting various statistical data that can provide practical help to member companies' management, and improving various regulations including laws related to turf clippings." He added, "I will work together with member companies to solve various challenges such as developing the golf course industry and protecting rights and interests."

Lim Gi-ju, who served as the 6th and 7th president, completed his term and retired. Lim, chairman of Hanmaek Country Club in Yecheon, Gyeongbuk, pledged in his farewell speech, "Following the old saying to be the master wherever you are and do your best, I will strive for the development of public golf courses and the association."
