View original imageAt approximately 1:27 a.m. on the 18th, a fire broke out at a seafood store inside a fish market in Masanhappo-gu, Changwon, Gyeongnam.
There were no casualties from the fire, but about 90 square meters of the seafood store and approximately 3 tons of Bungeo (conger eel) were burned, resulting in an estimated property damage of around 80 million won, according to the fire department.
The fire authorities, who responded after being alerted by a nearby store owner, extinguished the fire completely by 2:27 a.m., about an hour after it started.
The police and fire authorities believe the fire started from the aquarium cooler and are currently investigating the exact cause of the fire.
