Buk-gu Gwangju Recruiting New Members for Youth Network
Gwangju Buk-gu is now recruiting members for the 4th term of the 'Youth Network', a youth policy participation organization.
According to Buk-gu on the 18th, the Youth Network is a participatory organization where young people directly discover and propose youth policies. Fourteen new members will be recruited until the 26th. Eligible applicants are young people aged 19 to 39 who either live in Buk-gu or are affiliated with universities, educational institutions, or workplaces located in Buk-gu.
The selected members will collect opinions on youth policies, discover new policies, and discuss ways to participate in district administration for two years. They will also take the lead in planning and operating the 'Youth Week Event'. Buk-gu will provide meeting allowances, and outstanding participants will receive a commendation from the district mayor.
Mayor Moon In stated, "We will reflect the diverse voices of young people in district administration to make Buk-gu a place where youth want to stay."
