Yeoju Urban Corporation Selected as Finalist for '2025 Digital Service Usage Expansion Support Project'
Securing a Budget of Approximately 116 Million KRW
Through the Introduction of Innovative Digital Services
Gyeonggi Yeoju Urban Corporation announced on the 17th that its "Next-Generation Integrated Management System Implementation Project" was finally selected in the "2025 Digital Service Utilization Expansion Support Project" competition hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National Information Society Agency (NIA).
The "2025 Digital Service Utilization Expansion Support Project" is a public competition project aimed at all public sector institutions, including national and local government administrative agencies and public institutions. Based on the Cloud Computing Act, it promotes the use of private cloud services in the public sector and realizes digital innovation in administrative tasks and other public services. After a rigorous evaluation process consisting of the first stage document screening (preliminary suitability review), the second stage face-to-face presentation (expert evaluation), and the third stage face-to-face deliberation (task adjustment and final review), only 15 institutions were finally selected.
With this project selection, the corporation will introduce an integrated management system based on private cloud SaaS (Software as a Service) and will receive project funding of approximately 116 million KRW.
Accordingly, the corporation can expect to provide more efficient administrative services and secure security management through a cloud-based integrated management system for budgeting, accounting, personnel, and payroll that adapts to changes in the informatization environment. The entire project cost is funded by the Ministry of Science and ICT, allowing the project to proceed without any financial burden on Yeoju City or the corporation.

Lim Myeong-jin, president of the corporation, said, "With the selection of this project, the corporation can introduce the latest technology aligned with government policies aimed at promoting digital innovation and expanding the use of digital services in public-facing services and work systems through advanced private cloud technology." He added, "We will actively utilize these digital technologies to continuously innovate the corporation’s management system and provide safer and more efficient services to the citizens of Yeoju."
