Kookmin University-Samsung Financial Launch 'AI Digital Strategy Course'
Nurturing Talent for Digital Innovation in the Financial Industry
Kookmin University Graduate School of Business Administration has partnered with Samsung Financial Networks (Samsung Life Insurance, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, Samsung Card, Samsung Securities) to launch the ‘2025 Samsung Financial Companies AI Digital Strategy Program.’

The entrance ceremony was held on the 17th at the Samsung Financial Campus Leaders Hall, attended by Lee Eun-hyung, Director of External Cooperation at Kookmin University, Professor Cho Yoon-ho, the program director, Kookmin University faculty members, and Samsung Financial Networks officials including Oh Sung-yong, Executive Director of Samsung Financial Training Institute.
The program includes 24 trainees selected from Samsung Financial affiliates (6 from Samsung Life Insurance, 5 from Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, 6 from Samsung Card, and 7 from Samsung Securities). The training will be conducted over a total of 224 hours until the 25th of next month, with 12 professors and industry experts deeply covering AI-based financial strategies such as digital planning, development, and marketing. Additionally, there will be a 5-night, 7-day visit to Silicon Valley to directly analyze cases from global AI and digital leading companies such as Google, NVIDIA, and Amazon.
This program is a master’s level, practice-oriented education program jointly developed and operated by Kookmin University and Samsung Financial Training Institute since 2022. Starting this year, the existing ‘Digital Strategy Program’ has been revamped into the ‘AI Digital Strategy Program’ to further strengthen AI utilization capabilities.
Lee Eun-hyung, Director of External Cooperation at Kookmin University, emphasized, “As AI and digital technologies are transforming the financial industry, this program will be the optimal program to apply the latest financial trends and AI utilization strategies in practice. We expect trainees to generate innovative ideas and cultivate practical skills through projects focused on solving real financial business problems.”
