The Mulgeum-eup Festival Committee in Yangsan-si, Gyeongnam (Chairman: Cho Cheokrae) donated 1,640,000 KRW to the Mulgeum-eup Administrative Welfare Center on the 14th, requesting that it be used to support low-income and vulnerable groups in the area.

View original imageThe donation was raised through the sale of "Wishing Papers for Good Fortune" to citizens during the "2025 Mulgeum-eup Jeongwol Daeboreum Festival" held at Hwangsan Park on the 12th of last month.
Chairman Cho Cheokrae said, "I feel a great sense of fulfillment to be able to donate again this year following last year," and added, "I will continue to actively engage in sharing activities for the local community in the future."
Shim Juseok, head of Mulgeum-eup, stated, "We deeply appreciate the Mulgeum-eup Festival Committee for consistently caring for our neighbors in need and practicing warm-hearted sharing. We will do our utmost to ensure the donation is well used for vulnerable groups."
The donation received on this day will be delivered to the Mulgeum-eup Community Security Council through the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea and will be used for specialized projects supporting low-income and vulnerable groups in Mulgeum-eup.
