Daejin University Launches Win-Win Development Committee to Promote University Innovation and Future Growth

View original imageAt the inauguration ceremony, former Prime Minister's Office Coordination Officer Koo Yoon-cheol was appointed as co-chairman, and former Vice Minister of Unification Kim Hyung-seok, Kang Seung-soo CEO of DS Investment Partners, Yoon Young-ho advisor of the law firm Hwawoo, former Executive Director of KB Financial Group Kim Jae-yeol, and Na Hwa-yeop director of Bundang Jesaeng Hospital were appointed as committee members.
Internally, President Jang Seok-hwan, Planning Director Ryu Dong-woo, Education Innovation Director Kwak Tae-geun, Student Success Director Jang In-ho, and Industry-Academic Cooperation Director Jeong Jong-jin participated. The committee consists of a total of 10 to 15 experts, with the president of Daejin University and committee chairman Koo Yoon-cheol serving as co-chairmen.
The committee members will perform roles such as ▲analyzing internal and external environmental changes and establishing response strategies ▲advising on the university's mid- to long-term development plans ▲analyzing policy implementation risks and supporting execution strategies ▲analyzing government policies and external project bidding trends ▲building industry-academic cooperation networks. Through this, Daejin University plans to pursue more strategic university management and provide students with practical education and employment opportunities.
President Jang Seok-hwan stated, "Daejin University will not stop changing and innovating for sustainable growth," adding, "We expect the Win-Win Development Committee to serve as a bridge between the university and society and to produce tangible results."
Co-chairman Koo Yoon-cheol also said, "We will explore various cooperation methods so that the university can become a growth engine for the region and society," and "The committee will take the lead in driving the development of Daejin University."
In the future, the Win-Win Development Committee plans to discuss the university's mid- to long-term development strategies through regular meetings and actively utilize external advice. In particular, it will focus on producing tangible results in various fields such as industry-academic cooperation, research and development, and expanding global networks.
