Recruitment for the 2025 Nutrition Plus Program at Yeongju Public Health Center
Targeting pregnant women, postpartum and breastfeeding mothers, and infants under 66 months
Nutritional support and education provided to eligible participants
Yeongju Public Health Center (Director Kim Moonsu) will be recruiting new participants for the '2025 Nutrition Plus Program' from April 7 to 18.
The Nutrition Plus Program is designed to support the health of pregnant women and infants with vulnerable nutritional status. Selected participants will receive a supplementary food package (including rice, eggs, milk, etc.) twice a month, along with regular nutrition education and counseling.
Eligible applicants are residents of Yeongju whose household income is at or below 80% of the median income, including pregnant women, postpartum and breastfeeding mothers, and infants under 66 months old. Applicants must also have at least one nutritional risk factor such as anemia, underweight, growth retardation, or insufficient nutrient intake. If there are more applicants than available spots, priority will be given to basic livelihood security recipients and those with nutritional or medical risks.
Those wishing to apply should make a reservation in advance at the Yeongju Public Health Center Health Promotion Office and visit with the required documents. For more details and reservations, please contact the Nutrition Plus Counseling Office at the health center.

Director Kim Moonsu stated, "Balanced nutrition is essential for women who are pregnant or have given birth and for growing infants," and added, "We will do our best to promote the health of pregnant women and infants not only by providing supplementary foods but also through various nutrition education programs."
