In particular, with a low state corporate tax rate of around 5% and proximity to Atlanta International Airport and the Savannah port, it is recognized as a business base among companies seeking to enter the U.S. market due to its excellent logistics network.
The meeting was organized to explore ways to strengthen cooperation with local innovation institutions so that special zone companies can successfully settle in the North American market, centered on Georgia.
At the meeting, cooperation plans to match the technology demands of Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce member companies with the technologies possessed by special zone companies for technology demonstration were also discussed.
The Special Zone Foundation plans to further discuss open innovation, such as joint technology commercialization between global large corporations and special zone companies, based on this opportunity.
