Hana Bank Hosts '2025 F/W Sustainable K-Fashion Art Show by Hana Art Bank'
Held at Place1 in Samseong-dong, Seoul
from March 14 to April 14
Hana Bank announced on the 12th that it will hold the exhibition "2025 F/W Sustainable K-Fashion Art Show by Hana Art Bank," a fusion of environmental protection and art, at Place1 in Samseong-dong, Seoul, from March 14 to April 14.
The "Sustainable K-Fashion Art Show" is an art fair combining fashion and art, broadly highlighting the possibilities of sustainable art and revisiting the meaning of use and reuse.
To create value in sustainable fashion and art, Hana Bank has been continuously supporting the "Sustainable K-Fashion Art Show" through "Hana Art Bank" since last year, aiming to expand new areas and pioneer it as a genre of multidisciplinary art.
Additionally, through this "Sustainable K-Fashion Art Show," Hana Bank expects to explore ways in which art can contribute to environmental protection, investigate creative methods, raise awareness of the importance of the environment through contemporary art, and have meaningful time reflecting on the future of sustainable fashion and art together.
The theme of this exhibition, "색(色_) Homonym," is a metaphor derived from the homonym where removing the "A" from "A CHROMATIC COLOR (achromatic color)" results in "CHROMATIC COLOR (chromatic color)," starting from the idea that each individual has their own identity, or color. The works are composed in various forms, including upcycling art expressed through subjective ideology by all artists, paintings using eco-friendly materials, and exhibitions incorporating digital technology.
The "Sustainable K-Fashion Art Show" subdivides the fields of works such as flat, three-dimensional, installation, craft, media, photography, and fashion in collaboration with ESG companies, sustainable eco-friendly brands, and institutions. About 30 artists, from emerging to mid-career, who are gaining attention through various domestic and international activities, will participate to deliver new visual messages through environmentally friendly works with diverse presentations.
Lee Eun-jung, Head of Hana Bank’s Hana The Next Division, said, "Hana Bank has been offering Art Bank services since 2006 to provide differentiated customer-centered services beyond the boundaries of finance," adding, "As a leading Art Bank, we plan to continuously hold famous exhibitions and provide various art and cultural contents to our customers."
