Invited Disability Organizations to Discuss Design and More
LG Electronics participated in the world's largest accessibility conference, showcasing a variety of product lines designed to help everyone use products conveniently without exclusion.
LG Electronics took part in the accessibility conference 'CSUN AT 2025,' held in Anaheim, USA, from the 11th to the 14th (local time). CSUN AT is an assistive technology (AT) event hosted by California State University (CSUN). It is considered the largest event in the world focused on accessibility. Accessibility refers to the degree to which products, services, and environments can be conveniently used by everyone regardless of age, gender, or disability. Global big tech companies such as Google, Amazon, and Microsoft also participate annually to introduce technologies in the accessibility field and gain new ideas. LG Electronics is the first global home appliance company to participate in CSUN AT.
At this event, LG Electronics set up a solo exhibition booth and introduced various solutions to help customers with disabilities or seniors use products conveniently. A representative example is the new kiosk product featuring height adjustment and tactile keypads. The new product is designed so that wheelchair users or shorter customers can easily adjust the height of the kiosk screen to their eye level simply by pressing a button. The addition of a tactile keypad accessory also improved accessibility for visually impaired customers.

During the conference, LG Electronics also held a conference inviting corporate and academic experts and disability organizations to discuss topics such as AI home, Comfort Kit, and universal design. The purpose is to discuss ways to resolve customer inconveniences and build a more convenient environment.
Attendees at the conference hosted by LG Electronics include the Shepherd Center, North America's largest rehabilitation research center, the American Foundation for the Blind, the National Center for Accessible Media (NCAM), and UC Berkeley. They are expected to share expert knowledge and opinions on improving accessibility within products and propose various ideas to enhance accessibility using the new Comfort Kit and voice controllers.
