Jung Eui-sun Receives 4.4 Billion KRW Salary from Mobis... 400 Million KRW Increase from Previous Year

Chung Eui-sun, Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, was reported to have received over 4.4 billion KRW in compensation last year from Hyundai Mobis, an affiliate company.
According to the 2024 business report disclosed by Hyundai Mobis on the 11th, Chairman Chung received a total of 4.431 billion KRW, including a salary of 2.5 billion KRW, a bonus of 1.75 billion KRW, and other labor income amounting to 181 million KRW.
This amount is 431 million KRW higher than the 4 billion KRW annual salary he received from Hyundai Mobis the year before last.
Hyundai Mobis explained the chairman’s compensation by stating that it followed internal standards such as the executive salary table and executive wage determination criteria, which consider factors like job role and rank, length of service, company contribution, and talent development.
Chairman Chung serves as a registered executive not only at Hyundai Mobis but also at Hyundai Motor Company and Kia, although he does not receive compensation from Kia.

Lee Kyu-seok, President of Hyundai Mobis, who was appointed in November the year before last, received a total of 1.797 billion KRW last year, including a salary of 1.012 billion KRW, a bonus of 780 million KRW, and other labor income of 77 million KRW.
