Discussion on Current Issues Including Protection of Overseas Intellectual Property
The Innobiz Association announced on the 11th that it held a knowledge property meeting with Innobiz entrepreneurs, inviting Kim Wanki, Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office, at the association's meeting room in Pangyo, Gyeonggi Province.
The meeting was organized to directly hear the voices of Innobiz companies pioneering the global market based on innovative technologies and to discuss ways to activate overseas expansion through regulatory improvements and securing differentiated competitiveness. The meeting was attended by six Innobiz entrepreneurs, including Jeong Gwangcheon, President of the Innobiz Association, and five government officials, including Kim Wanki, Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office.

Since signing a business agreement in June 2022, both parties have established a cooperative system to spread intellectual property management. The association is the only small and medium enterprise cooperative organization designated by the Korean Intellectual Property Office as an 'evaluation institution for inventions, etc.,' actively promoting funding for innovative companies and revitalizing intellectual property finance.
