[Invest&Law] Taepyungyang Recruits Former Chief Prosecutor Park Hyungyu and Former Chief Judge Jung Hyeun
Law firm Taepyungyang has recruited former Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office Tax Crime Investigation Division Chief Prosecutor Park Hyun-gyu and former Seoul Family Court Chief Judge Jeong Hye-eun.
Attorney Park Hyun-gyu (Judicial Research and Training Institute Class 34) began his career as a prosecutor at Busan District Prosecutors' Office in 2005. He has served in the Financial Investigation Division of Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office, as a legal advisor seconded to the Korea Exchange, and as head of the Anti-Corruption Division at Busan District Prosecutors' Office. Until recently, he worked as the Capital Market Investigation Planner at the Financial Services Commission. He is expected to work with Taepyungyang’s Financial Securities Crime Investigation Response Team and Tax Crime Investigation Response Team.
Attorney Jeong Hye-eun (Class 35) has served as a judge at Seoul Administrative Court and Suwon District Court. She participated in improving family law-related systems, including the establishment of enforcement regulations for the Act on the Punishment of Child Abuse Crimes. She was selected as an outstanding judge in the Seoul Bar Association’s “2023 Judge Evaluation.” Attorney Jeong will join Taepyungyang as the head of the Family Dispute Team.
